Snow!

Sometimes we get snow in NC!  It is rare, but it happens...and we got a bit coupled with very low temperatures this past week.  As a result the kids got 4 days off of school and it has been a PARTY!!  The first day off Grandpa took the kids to Playnation (an indoor playground).  The second day Momma took the day off of work, the third went back to Playnation and today (the fourth day) they are at Momma Lynna's:-).  Here is a picture of Odin and Luca enjoying some coconut milk snow cream.

During this time the kids got a taste of the snow (literally, Odin said he ate some while jumping on the trampoline!).  Today it is warm so it will all melt, which is fine by Momma!  But I'm sure the kids will miss it.

In other exciting news...Odin has started to read and we are so proud of him!  For the past three mornings he has read to Momma while snuggling in bed.  It is slow, of course, and Momma has to help him with the big words, but he is probably reading about 50% of an easy reader's book.  Yeah Odin!!!
