Boys Cooking Dinner

Odin and Bjorn planned and made dinner for us last night.  It was really fun and a lot of learning for both.  AND, they ate without complaining!

Odin planned his meal:  green beans, sliced peppers, mac 'n cheese, and burgers.

Bjorn planned his appetizer:  black beans with salsa, sour cream, and cheese.

Boys snapped beans while watching a show.

Then Bjorn prepped his appetizer.  First time using a can opener, but he got it easily.  

Then Odin prepped his meal.  He found the meat gross...

Was surprised to see seeds in the red pepper...

But was very happy to make the mac 'n cheese!

Both had chocolate milk w their meal as a treat for a job well done!

Halloween

Its Halloween and in Athens Halloween is THE HOLIDAY to celebrate!  We hosted the 2nd annual pumpkin carving party and a gooey mess was had by all...

Mom and Dad enjoyed the wild rumpus and went out dancing with friends!

And...on Halloween (yes a Monday!) we went to a party and took the kids trick or treating down Boulevard.

At the party the kids boobed for apples (Bjorn was a Ninja).

Weekend fun

With the weather cooling a bit, we dusted off our bikes this weekend and went for a very, very long bike ride to the UGA Homecoming tailgate!  On the way home Odin entertained us with some tricks...(yes, he's standing on his bike!).

Odin's Skating Birthday Party

A couple weeks late, but still tons of fun!  We had Odin's birthday party at the skating rink.  Many very cool friends of Odin's came and even some parents skated!

Mom and Dad skated!  Mom only fell once when she was trying to skate backwards!

Odin turns 8!

Odin turned 8 last week.  We had a big day!  It began with a bike ride to Ike and Jane for birthday donuts

 and ended with dinner at HiLo.  Odin got a video game for his birthday and the picture says it all...

These boys are just so incredible...

And I love them so much...
