Odin's Skating Birthday Party
A couple weeks late, but still tons of fun! We had Odin's birthday party at the skating rink. Many very cool friends of Odin's came and even some parents skated!
Mom and Dad skated! Mom only fell once when she was trying to skate backwards!

Odin turns 8!
Odin turned 8 last week. We had a big day! It began with a bike ride to Ike and Jane for birthday donuts
and ended with dinner at HiLo. Odin got a video game for his birthday and the picture says it all...

First Day of School
Today is the first day of 3rd grade for Odin and PreK for Bjorn.
Yesterday we went to the school to walk around, meet the teachers and help Bjorn get comfortable with his new school. Odin acted the part of big brother and gave Bjorn lots of tips. They also enjoyed playing on the wall-of-wonder at the school.
Then we went to get new shoes for the boys! Bjorn said his new shoes made him run faster!

Bjorn had a big hug for dad and was excited to be in his classroom too.

Lake House Vacation
We ended summer with a bang! We spent 2 weeks at the lake house, had tons of visitors and lots and lots of fun.
Kitty Poo went with us and she loved it. She spent most of her time on the deck, but also spent some time with the neighbors and tolerated hanging out in Odin's fort.
Momma and Bjorn tried out paddle boards and really enjoyed them! Next toy on the list!
Lots of swimming, but also some good movie time!
