A really fun Friday

Last Friday we made a visit to a lovely area outside of Athens, GA for a seriously fun adventure.

Tucked away in the middle of nowhere is a property with a pond, 510 ft zip line going across the pond, a climbing wall and a repelling wall!  I took the boys there with our new neighbor friend, Samaya.

 And zooming across the pond on the zipline.  Mom got to go twice and each kiddo got to go 5 times!  It was thrilling!

 After the zipline we gave the climbing wall a try.  Odin, like spider-man, quickly climbed to the top.

 Bjorn, too, got amazingly high!

 And even Mom did pretty well;-)

First Day of School

School started back today!  Lots of smiles for everyone :-)

Odin is starting 4th grade.  He has two teachers.  Ms. Carrithers and Mr. Snow.

 Bjorn is starting Kindergarten and he has three teachers!  But we only saw two on the first day.  Ms. Evans and Ms. Taylor.

Hannah's Bat Mitzvah

Catching up from a month of vacation!  We started our vacation in New York visiting family.  Included in that visit was Hannah's Bat Mitzvah.  Kids had a blast!

They even dressed nicely for the event.

Last Day of School

Today is the last day of preschool for Bjorn and the last day of 3rd grade for Odin.  WOW...

April Pictures

We are so busy and the kids are keeping us on our toes!  Here are some fun pictures from April...

Today we are getting hair cuts, so Dad worked extra hard to get nice pictures of the boys and their lovely hair before their summer cuts ;-)

Grandma came to visit giving Mom and Dad a welcome break and making the grandkids very happy.

 This past weekend we had a ton of rain...the kids really enjoyed splashing around and building dams.

They worked together nicely...something that occasionally happens ;-)

Spring Break Second Half

For the second half of Spring Break we traveled up to the lake house.  Grandma Fern and Grandma Cathy visited with us.  The two grandma's played scrabbled with Bjorn.  Bjorn helped Grandma Fern keep score.  We are very impressed that he can add multiple numbers into the 20's!  When did he learn that!?!?

 We spent a day on the land.  It had been a while since being there and the paths needed a lot of clearning, but we still enjoyed our time.

 The last evening was spent playing scrabble again.
