Summer Fun at Botanical Gardens

Today we went for a hike through the creek at the Botanical Gardens.  We were having a blast and then the skies opened and poured rain on us...but we were already wet!

Breakfast with Dad and Ike and Jane

There is a lovely coffee shop super close to the Holman House that Dad gets coffee at every morning.  And on special mornings he takes Björn there for breakfast.  Björn loves their cream, bacon and fruit.  Today was one of those special mornings...

Dad told Björn to smile for the camera and this was his goofy face!

Notice the super short hair...a case of lice is going around his daycare and this was the easiest solution!

Saturday our FUN day

Yesterday (Saturday) was a super, super fun day.  We started at a pool with Ailynn and Ez (and their parents).  We swam until the boys were exhausted.  Then we popped into a local potter's sale to purchase some fun mugs.  Then for dinner we met MORE friends (Ben and Max and their parents;-).  The boys had so much fun hanging out with Ben and Max.  Max, like Bjorn, enjoys superheros, swords and other pay costumes. The two boys hung out together (a first for Bjorn).  Ben and Odin hung out the entire night paying mindcraft together, running around their new home (they just moved into their newly built very wonderful home ~1/2 mile from our Holman House), and playing on their hammock.

Us parents had a blast together too!  The night didn't end until 11:30; rather late for adults and kids!  But we were all having so much fun we just couldn't leave.
