Bike Race

This past weekend Odin and Bjorn participated in the Athen's Twilight kids bike race.

And on Sunday...we took it easy and played with muddy water at the cabin ;-)

We went hiking at the Botanical Gardens and the kids had a BLAST!  Odin taught Bjorn how to jump off a log and into the river-swollen creek.

Weekend Fun

 Of late the boys have been playing together a lot.  We spent a nice morning romping around on the grass...we raced and the boys wrestled!

Chemistry Fun at Boy Scounts

On Sunday Odin went to boy scouts and there they got to see some fun chemistry experiments.

Holman House Progress

Lots of progress has been made on the house recently.  All the doors are hung and windows trimmed out.  It looks so awesome!  And the wood floors are in and stained.  Next week they will be polyurethane.

Here you can see the trim around the doors and windows on the 1st floor.

Yesterday the floors were stained and Momma snapped a picture by leaning waaaaaay in on the front door.  Couldn't walk on them bc they were still wet.

Passover

This past weekend we drove up to Raleigh to celebrate Passover with Grandma Fern.  As always she put on a great event for the kids.

Bjorn loved the bitter herbs dipped in salt water.  He ate the entire plate!

Odin enjoyed some "boy" time with Demetrius.

Delta and Luca were very studious and followed the story closely.
