Scrabble

Grandpa got Odin a Scrabble game for Christmas and he loves it!  We love it too b/c now Odin is sounding out words and helping Grandpa keep score!

Holiday Fun

Yesterday (Saturday) was chuck full of fun times.  We started by going to see the Nutcracker.  Odin enjoyed it, but fell asleep towards the end.

Then we had our annual wreath making party...

Finger Painting

Grandma Fern gave Bjorn finger paint for Hanukkah...so this morning we set up our painting shop in the dining room and got MESSY!!!

After painting we went directly into the bath...

 And then the kids played in the playroom while Momma cleaned up the dining room...next time she'll leave the mess for Grandma Fern!

Grandpa build Bjorn a new swing so Odin and Bjorn can swing at the same time!  They love it!

State Fair!!

Yesterday Dad took the kids to the State Fair.  Needless-to-say, the pictures show a GREAT time was had by all!

A Visit From Mark, Mel and Madelyn

This past weekend we had a lovely visit from Mark, Mel and Madelyn.  They arrived on Saturday and waiting for their arrival was so hard for the boys.  Eventually Odin and Bjorn decided to build a fort and that helped pass the time.

Once they arrived, lots of fun was had!  The weather was a bit rainy, but that didn't stop us too much.  We rode bikes, did some archery...

 Went swimming!!  Well SOME went swimming!

 We did acrobatics over MOMMA!!!  That blur going over Momma's belly is Odin!

And a very special treat...we watched Star Wars.

And Bjorn hung with Uncle Mark as much as he possible could!

Fall Garden

Our garden has been so lovely and with the help of Lynna and Luca it has stayed relatively weed-free.  Right now our sweet potatoes are growing like mad!  We also have carrots, beets, kale, collards, broccoli and some summer veggies hanging on...

The sweet potatoes are in the back corner climbing up the fence:-)  The carrots are in the row just up from them and across from the carrots are the other fall veggies.
