Bjorn's Birthday Celebrations

Although early Bjorn's birthday celebrations have already begun!  Last night we hosted a party and sleepover for his friends. 

A pinata was the highlight of the party (well, after the ice cream cake!).

Lake Oconee

Our 3rd annual Labor Day Weekend at Lake Oconee was a huge success!  We had a blast w friends and the kids did phenomenal with the water sports.

Bjorn got up on the knee board and did a little showing off with the no hands trick.

 Mom did here annual wakeboarding ride.

 And the big surprise...Odin got up on the wakeboard on the first attempt!

 Yup, it was fun!

Odin's Birthday (Again)

This morning we celebrated Odin's actual birthday.  He got lots of camping gear and a book.

 And, of course, we had breakfast at Ike and Jane that included a brownie!

Odin turns 10

Odin had his birthday party this past weekend (he turns 10 in 2 days).  He wanted to have a sleepover with a bunch of his friends.  And that's exactly what we did, except I don't think they slept very much!

Bjorn and Mom had their own special evening and night.  We had Thai dinner and spent the night in a hotel.

The Boys

 This picture was taken at 5:30am.  Bjorn woke extra early bc he was excited to see what the tooth fairy was going to bring him.  Lucky boy it was legos!

First Day of 1st and 5th

Today was the first day of school for the boys!  Bjorn is going into 1st and Odin into 5th grade.  Both boys agreed the first day was the best day :-)

This weekend, the boys baked breakfast bars with Mom.  Undoubtedly cooking in your underwear is the best.

 We also started thinking about a hiking/backpacking/camping trip.  We did some inventory of camping gear and practice this week.
