Potty Training

Odin is potty training himself! The lazy parents that we are have been just sitting back and following his orders. Today while in the midst of playing (naked b/c it is so darn hot) Odin jumped up and ran to the bathroom, banged on the door until Momma opened it and went straight for the toilet and lifted the lid. Once Momma figured out what Odin was doing she quickly put his trainer seat (that we JUST got at a yard sale this morning for 50 cents!) on the toilet seat and sat him down....and...two seconds later he peed!

This past Friday we went to a large playdate with a bunch of kids and fun activities. Below is Odin trying to catch a very large bubble.

Fairy Festival

This past weekend we drove up to PA to visit our friends, Mark, Mel and Madelyn, who live on a dairy farm and make cheese. We had a blast! Odin loved all of the farm animals and especially liked the very friendly farm cats. We also went to a fairy festival for kids at a local farm.

Party and Gymnastics

On Saturday we went to one of Odin's friend's birthday party, Ariana. She turned 6! She also had a pinata! Odin is always trying to do what her younger brother Jamie does, here is Jamie trying to jump up and get the pinata...
...and of course Odin has to try to jump up too!

And it wouldn't be a party without some desserts...yum...chocolate covered bananas!

Odin also likes to mow!

Strawberry Jammin'

Today was strawberry jam day! Mom jammed with her friends Tia, Robyn and Susan while Dad played with all the kids and the hubbies.

Odin helped by eating berries...here Odin enjoys hanging out with Susan's hubby, David, while Brad and Mom cut berries.
Susan's daughter, Ariana, won the prize for finding the biggest strawberry!
And the fruits of our labor (this is only 25% of the loot after the 4 way split)!

Fun at the Park

Today Momma met Odin, Susan and Jamie (Susan is Odin's daycare provider M, W and F mornings while Momma works and Jamie is Susan's 3 year old...aka Odin's bud!) at the park. There were tons of kids running around having a blast! Odin chased older boys, played with wood chips and did a lot of climbing.

Easter Eggs

For Easter, Odin got to play with his friend Maya. They did lots of running around at our friends Cullin and Caitlin's house.

Of course, it wouldn't be Easter without dying some eggs! Odin loved playing with the eggs and the color dye, but didn't seemed concerned about getting dye eveywhere.

Tia and Maya were also having fun dying eggs. And of course we ate some chocolate bunny rabbits.

We did a Swedish egg that reads "Glad Påsk" (Happy Easter).
